Today we are happy to announce the signing of two new players to our Dota 2 roster, Oleg “Lasthero” Demidovich and Thomas “Rab8” Kotk.
Demidovich, 24 is a native of Belarus and started playing Dota 2 professionally during 2016, playing in multiple Belarusian teams, before making his first appearance in Brestomans, an esports organization owned by FC Dynamo Brest. Before this, Oleg concentrated on traditional sports, playing football from the age of 6 all the way he was 18, making a football team organization a natural pick for him. Helsinki REDS is the first non-domestic organization Demidovich will be joining. Lasthero will be playing the role of POS3
Kotk, 18 is a native of Estonia and joins his first esports organization. He was introduced to Dota 2 in 2013 by his brother and has had ambitions to go pro ever since. Big friend of all strategy games, Thomas enjoys the competitive aspect of Dota and is now ready to enter the tournament scene. Kotk himself thinks his strengths in game are his mechanical skills and a calm personality that he brings into the games. Rab8 will be playing the role of POS1
– “ A good mixture of youth and experience was just the thing we were looking for and now we will see how the team will develop in the coming months. The organization has high expectations from the current roster and think we will be seeing big things from them”, says Christer Kasurinen, the General Manager of the hREDS organization
The team will start appearing in tournaments around Europe immediately, so be sure to follow us on social media and cheer them on their journey.
