The Helsinki REDS parts ways with its Dota 2 roster: Kim “Vipu” Roos, Tomas “Syuuu” Sainio, Jan “Womber” Kylmänen, Oleg “Lasthero” Demidovich and Thomas “Rab8” Kotk. Head coach Stefan “Realtoxi” Stamatović will also be leaving the organization.
“It has been a long 1,5 years, and we have grown a lot as an organization. That being said, the roster, even with its upgrades, did not perform at the required level, so I believe it is better to pursue other goals at this stage. The parties involved are leaving on good terms, and I thank every single one for their contributions to the hREDS.” said general manager Christer Kasurinen.
The Helsinki REDS will not be immediately looking into forming a new Dota 2 roster.
For now, the Helsinki REDS will continue to build its CS:GO team and manage its players in Hearthstone, Tekken 7 and Fortnite.
